Worth five stars simply for having the single greatest, most hilarious rant ever written. The fiery Prepotente gives such a colossally epic and hilariously over-the-top spew of word vomit against Carl that I genuinely feel as though he suffered a permanent debuff! I mean Pony’s mildly unfair verbal castration of Carl, his ego and his intelligence is a show stopping and ball busting delight of sound and fury. I could only see Tim Curry in his prime delivering this performance! What makes it even more remarkable is how clean and PG-13 it is. In that minutes long rant there’s not a single swear word spoken (at least none I could remember). In fact this whole series is strangely wholesome. The cursing and sailor talk is kept to a minimum and it somehow works. And even though it’s as long as a Robert Jordan novel it breezes through with the phenomenal voice acting and talent of Jeff Hays, . The only critique I have might be the Carl laugh. It’s not very good. The narrator only summons a dry chuckle that makes me wish he didn’t bother at all. Maybe just describe his laugh without trying to reproduce it.
