I generally can suspend reality when listening to science fiction… But this book was a bit too much. I simply can’t believe that a bunch of hardened spacers take on a brand new crew member and trust him just because. The characters are pretty flat. You can instantly guess what they are going to be used for. The relationships I the book are so one dimensional it’s nearly pointless. While I finished the book I really wish I had my last few hours back.
