The writing style, voice acting, and spice were good. I just don’t like Kali and Hayden as a couple. I don’t think they should have ended up together and I wish Kali had been strong enough to listen to her gut. I am always down for a morally grey mmc who thinks he is doing the wrong thing for the right reason, but this is icky. I liked the first one better. Yeah, there was hardly any spice until the end, but at least she had some fight in her.

Ok. First of all, he murdered her dad. Then stalked her for months. Then gaslit her into thinking he was helping her find her dad’s murderer. Then gaslit her into thinking he was protecting her from her stalker. Once she finally trusts him enough to be intimate with him she tells him she wants to be on birth control to prevent pregnancy. This dude had the doctor inject her with saline instead because Hayden wanted to get her pregnant and make her think it was just meant to be. When she finds out he was her stalker and her dad’s killer, she just gets over it in 2 months and marries him???
