The narration is great! With voices differing enough from one another it allows for an easier listen with less confusion than most books. It also allows for more personality for each character which helps convey the comedy aspect even more, and man is there a lot of comedy. This book takes the dire setting and plays into the dark tones while also throwing in dark jokes and unexpected moments that allow you to feel the hysteria the characters feel and then flip the moment on its head and have you laughing. The plot itself sets up well for turns you might or might not expect but leave you entertained throughout with no dry areas. Whether the characters were regrouping or talking about backstory, there was always something interesting being explained or happening. I enjoyed this book thoroughly and I cannot wait to get on to the next.
