Honestly, I just love this authors work in general.
This story tackles real life issues like mental disorders, sexual assault, and eating disorders and keeps those topics serious, as well as addressed; which is SO rare! But, it also balances it out with a lot of cute, heartfelt moments and all the characters felt genuine and very close to each other. All of them were developed and had big personalities which I loved. It addressed so much issues that I wish were talked about more in relationships with trauma.
At times, it was a bit all over the place, but that’s okay! It gives it that human touch that I’m in love with.
I highly recommend this work.
