Oh how I LOVE Anna and Brody! Brody is quite the jerk the first time he meets Anna but they come together in the cutest way. Brody is the DEFINITION of a gentleman. He opens doors, drives Anna to work, and listens to her. The man even gives her the gift of all gifts that I’m still not over. (I want one!) Anna sees and understands Brody in a way that he needs more than he knows. I love how seamlessly she fits into his family and isn’t afraid to have some tough conversations to make his family better. This book is overflowing with mature communication and I loved it so much.
Cherry Peak is the most perfect small town and I cannot get enough of it. I think the gang of girls is my favorite part though. I absolutely love Poppy, Bryce, and Anna’s friendship. They are there for each other like family.
This is such a perfect small town romance! Hannah Cowan’s writing always grabs my attention immediately and it feels so cozy to the very end. She writes characters that are so easy to fall for and romance that I can’t stop highlighting. I loved this book with my whole chest!

Stefanie Kay and Zachary Webber narrated this audiobook in dual format. Zachary Webber was absolutely perfect for Brody. His voice is so smooth and I could just imagine him transitioning from talking to crooning as a country music star. I also thought he did a fantastic job reading the female parts within Brody’s chapters. This is my first time listening to Stefanie Kay. She was such a great fit for Anna and all the girls in the Cherry Peak girl gang. When she read for the male parts in her chapters it was a bit distracting, but I still really enjoyed her.
