I got through the first book and thought, OK not my favorite but I’d like to know what happens now. The second book was more drawn out and seriously every person he meets is just looking to murder people. I’d like to think most people are good? Nope, not a one. Third book, this one…
First thing I had to do was turn the speed up because it sounded like the narrator was in slow motion.
I made it 4 chapters in and so far it has been Spencer rehashing everything he has done from book 1 and 2, second guessing his decisions, rehashing again, thinking about how terrible his situation is and whining about it. I am not kidding 4 chapters of whining, not a single other character or even 10 minutes have gone by in story timeline. I can’t anymore. I really want to know if he gets where he is trying to go but at this rate he won’t get 5 miles before the end of the book. I really wanted to like this, I really did.
