if you are looking for the same magic that made the first book special you can stop now. You won’t find it here. This book is mostly inner dialogue and descriptions of rooms and things that contribute absolutely nothing to the story. There is one flight scene that felt like 2 minutes of bad puns. I hate it but I couldn’t wait for it to be over. What I wanted was to watch an ancient overpowered skeleton walk through the lands gathering his lost items and crushing arrogant abusive people and checking God’s who thought they were untouchable. What I got was the point of view of characters I couldn’t care less about and the MC accomplishes almost nothing. I looked forward to this book but I think I’m done.
