there are many elements of this book that i love. a pet necromancer? awesome. a death druid? even better. a poltergeist looking for his forever possession? what an interesting problem.
But it was just so rushed. at one point you can hear a clip of the editor making a note to redo a recording due to mispronouncation. also the characters just weren’t believable. i know magic, but still, why is a 900 year old undead have the emotional maturity of a 16 year old high school student with no dating experience? why didn’t he know about his families history, i mean 900 years old? wth. this was a really good first draft but it shouldn’t have been released to the public.
