I liked some of the character developments. I kept wondering if the story line would go somewhere. What did was predictable. I often found myself finishing dialog before the MC did. By the third book I disliked the MC, he kept contradicting himself and was an arrogant bore. So many threads of possibilities but never tied up or disregarded.
The narration of the female characters was AWFUL. I had to rewind alot to understand then I gave up trying to understand and found their contribution to the conversation didn’t affect the scenes at all. Doesn’t that say alot?
