considering the caliber of this author this is completely disappointing. it’s like he came up with an idea for a story and couldn’t figure out how to flesh it out so he gave you the middle 30% of it. No buildup and no ending. You get drawn into the story and it just ends. If that’s not bad enough, it’s like you couldn’t make up his mind what disaster the story should play out as so he came up with five different ideas said hey this would make a great book and tossed it out there for you. I couldn’t bear to be disappointed on a third story so I quit halfway through. out of the thousands of books I’ve read, or listen to, this is the first time I have ever not finished a story.
