My friend gifted me a three month subscription to Audible solely because she knew I’d love this series. She wasn’t wrong. The writing is sharp and witty and Jeff Hays is a spectacular narrator. I got through the first two books in a week and am annoyed that I have to wait until June 15th for my next credit to kick in so I can get book three. I’m certain I will have to buy the rest outright because the waiting is killing me!
This series is so clever and engaging and you don’t need to like video games to enjoy it – heck, I’m an old lady who has zero interest in the new Nintendo Switch release and this is my favorite series I’ve read in years!
