I heard this one was going to be a jaw-dropper, but holy cow… I was NOT expecting that! The way the author crafted this story had me questioning everything I thought I knew. Every time I thought I had it figured out, she threw me in a completely different direction. The twists were so perfectly timed and layered that I found myself literally saying “WHAT?!” out loud more than once.
This is exactly the kind of psychological thriller I love—dark, emotional, and mind-bending. The second half of this book? Pure chaos—in the best way. It’s twist after twist after twist, right up to the very last page. Literally! haha
My only small critique is that the first half was a little slow in parts, and I think the story could’ve been about 75 pages shorter in the beginning. But once it hit that halfway point, there was no putting it down. The pacing, the tension, the unraveling of the truth—it all came together perfectly. So good. So shocking. So worth it.
