def think the books are improving as we go along. For me personally, b/c I dont find the narration of fights so interesting like in other books of this genre and in these last couple of books Dinniman has done a nice job of not focusing on that and instead focusing on his character and supporting cast development. Which is nice. That and the background politics and intrigue which is more interesting than listening to a narration of a fight.
