The author uses one person’s experience/perception with the LDS faith and incorrectly portrays that women in the LDS faith are subject to men. I have been a member of the “Mormon” faith all my life and have never felt that way. I didn’t finish the book because it is too graphic about the abuse. We could get the idea of what was happening with much more discretion. We don’t need all the gory details! The narrator did a terrible job and needs to learn correct pronunciation.
