This is the first series in a while I DNF. I got to about 20 hours left in the final book and just had no interest in confirming how the book ended. The MC is a typical Mary Sue. The story feels like it was an outline with plot points the author needed to connect, and just made the characters do what ever to get to the next point. the character development is just not consistent with character just moving the plot even if their actions are out of character. The background and settings sounded very interesting, but you can figure out the plot before the end of the first book.
