What a bizarre, creative, funny first book in a series! I cannot wait to start the next book. In fact, I immediately bought the remaining 6 books in the series.
I don’t even know with Content Warnings… Suffice to say: it’s dystopian, and some very dark stuff happens (past and present). The humor is often irreverent, but our characters Carl and Princess Donut have so much heart despite it all. They are complex, flawed, and intriguing characters.

I chose to listen to the audio too, because Jeff Hays’ voiceover talent is truly remarkable!
