One of the best standalone fantasies I have ever read!! The character arcs and growth were incredible. There is room for the book to develop into another story, but it won’t which makes me sad. It says something that I went from hating a character for a majority of the book to liking them at the end. Highly recommend!!! TW: war, death, suicide, grief
