Inspired by Firefly, but so much more!

I didn’t know what to expect with this series weekend I bought it a few weeks ago, I was looking for something lighter and funny. This definitely delivered, I legitimately broke out into laughter many times. I am happy to report that huge humor comes through naturally without turning the story into a farce.

There is so much more to this series than a sense of humor though. I came to really like these characters and really want to hear more of them especially Carl and Mort. But the time the series was through I had already bought the next two, and can’t decide which to listen to first (or should be Astral Prime, but I know I’ll follow the story with the (not a) dog because I love that big lunk.

This author is awesome and I cannot wait to hear the rest of his works. As for the narrator, could hardly ask for better. I can only stand in awe at how he can keep track of all these voices and deliver them in a way I knew who was whom without losing a beat. I am very glad to see he is also the voice of the other series.

I’ll finish by just saying, buy this you will love it!

PS, if you are a roleplay gamer, this is what Starfinder should feel like, science with magic in an uneasy truce between the two.
