I had to put this book down a few times because the main narrator was so—whack. She was boring, monotone, with weird enunciation and limited character range. But I could tell the story was really good, so I kept trying. The plot was well-constructed and kept me intrigued from beginning to end. There were so many twists and turns, all sewn together nicely into a satisfying conclusion.
