The most interesting character in a long time is Ryun. Great back story. Interesting dialogue. Fascinating journey. Could not wait to hear more.
But instead we get a lot of Zach. Zach is a boring one dimensional paladin type, that inexplicably thinks a serial killer is ok to date because reasons, who gets everything handed to him because plot armor.
The odd side characters introduced almost saved this book, but as Zach is now apparently slated to become the lead, I can’t be bothered to care.
