Compared to the other litRPG/progressive fantasy series I’ve read, it just didn’t keep my attention. It’s a fine story, and the premise is interesting; I just didn’t feel pulled into the story and I didn’t care about the characters. I typically like stronger MCs (and usually really like female MCs) but I just didn’t feel compelled to follow this one into the next adventure. Some books just aren’t for everyone, this one wasn’t for me. Soundbooth’s production was awesome though, I think it was the only reason I finished it, tbh.
