I was very interested in this book specifically because of the style of leveling and the way these characters acquired thoer powers.
The Story itself is the problem…he writes from a pure negative perspective. And its not as if its from a good writing thought process. its simply just to add unnecessary Grit.
Do not expect this story to move you or for the characters to ever be able to gain an advantage. its a typical ” no matter how hard you try, no matter what you do or what you create or what you add, nothing will make a difference against your enemies.”
I’ll attempt book 2 but im looking forward to it.
