I adore Jeff Hayes. He’s amazing as the mimic. The other narrators are really good as well. But damn if the writing isn’t too hamfisted to live. Dialogue that no living person would utter. Characters that break character to move plot instead of the other way around. This had great bones. I hate that the meat on them is rotten. This could have been so good.
