This book does some decent world building and has believable plot progression. The LitRPG elements don’t feel as fleshed out as I’d prefer. They are simultaneously too detailed and under utilized. The characters come across as extremely generic and unrelatable to me, even with Jeff’s incredible voices for each and every one of them. I really wanted to like it, but it didn’t give me quite enough to keep going in the series.
