Did I ever see myself reading a book about an ideal ant colony, or caring about them should I ever do so? Absolutely not. Did the insidious talents of one Jeff Hays cause me to come crawling out of one dungeon and into another while simultaneously causing my answer to the two immediately preceding questions to be, “No, but yes… Also, YES!” To my eternal frustration, the answer is indeed, yes. I never expected to care about ants, let alone a colony, but, “FOR THE COLONY!”
