What did you love best about Sci-Fi Motherlode?
The stories were engaging and stayed with me. I loved the twists and turns. Jeschonek is a master storyteller, with a talent for surprise endings. Narration by Bill Lord was superb!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Smidgen the Snack Cake was definitely my favorite. I have a marketing background, and this story gave me chills. How much are we really being controlled in the marketplace? It was surreal, but also seemed a natural extension of where we’re heading.
What about Bill Lord’s performance did you like?
Lord has a talent for changing his voice to fit the story and character. His every word is completely believable. Now, I can’t imagine these stories without his voice.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The story about the serial killer was chilling, but also deeply human. Jeschonek finds the humanity in the most frightening characters and situations.
