Man… this series seriously just keeps getting better and better with each book. This book had me almost crying a couple different times, too. Matt can do it all. Also the end of the book gutted me! Oof. I’m terrified for the 9th floor.
Extra note to mention that my husband, who NEVER READS, got interested in this series from hearing me listen to it. He got addicted and surpassed where I was in the series. I’ve never seen him excited about a book but he literally will sit there and watch my reactions and ask me where I’m at in the series. It’s awesome to see him into a book series.
Jeff, by the way, is excellent as always. Narration was incredible, and I often have to think about the fact that he’s actually the one narrating all the voices.
