face is annoying. girl needs therapy and lots of it. There is a hit out on you, big mafia guys hunting you down. and youre gonna run and put yourself in harms way? how many times do you need to almost die to realize you really are in danger? and I honestly didnt feel any connection to their “love” story. i have no issue with the obsession trope, but with this i just didnt feel their connection.
and do none of the people in this book understand danger? “everything will be fine”. um did any of her aunts, mom. everyone see the men with guns? understand the mafia? I just cant with this book. and the chapter with them all in the kitchen hashing it out is just taking too long.
