If you’re short on time and don’t want your dog kidnapped, lost, trapped, injured, stolen, killed, or eaten!! Why not routinely them out on a leash as a precaution – just like approaching a building with a weapon at hand, or loading a magazine in case you need it, or clearing a room before you waltz in. Any piece of paracord, rope, strip of cloth, or a responsible dog owner’s actual leash will work. No matter how well trained a dog is, they can always be trapped, etc if not in hand. Idiot.
