The Untouchables is Book 2 in the Ruthless people serious. With that being said, if you haven’t read book 1 then there may be some unintentional spoilers for you.

Liam and Melody are rich, powerful, and ruthless. In book one they ran over every person they believed to be in their way with no regard. It actually annoyed me how they seemed to have no bounds nor showed proper respect to anyone So in Book 2 they are faced with a foe that inspires fear in them. My favorite thing about this book is that Liam and Melody finally get some of the karma they deserve. I know it’s bad to dislike the main characters, but I just want them not to be such duoches when it isn’t necessary.

This new foe actually brings some suspense when she starts killing off some of the characters. The characters are developing more in book 2 as the brothers and their wives began to adjust to the new ly weds. I am glad to see that all the wives do not Bo down easily. We start to seem some fight in them all. The book ends with a good cliff hanger. I’m hoping that yhe author doesn’t magically make everything go their way in the next book. This is the mafia. Not everyone in the family should make it.

The narrator for Book 1, Joel Froomkin, was much better suited for the irish/accent changes. So I was not happy to see that book 2 had a new narrator. Not that the guy was bad. Jeff Hays did quite well especially handling the female voices. I just think authors should only change narrators if they suck.
