First of all. Let me just state that reviews are nothing more than opinions based upon the preferences of those reading/listening to the books/audiobooks being reviewed.
Narrator- 4/5
-Like many of the other reviews I found that the narrator was too slow. If you speed the narration slightly, it’s not as bad. Other than that I would say the way the narrator narrates is one of the better ones I have listened to.
Story- 3/5
-I am not a professional writer or critique. I am someone who just wants to be entertained while listening to a story. I drive 6-7.5 hours a night so I listen to a lot of Audiobooks. This series lacked entertainment….
I liked others enjoyed the Nightblade series and was excited to purchase the trilogy for one credit. Unfortunately, for me, I struggled through the first book. There were times where I was intrigued but often I found myself struggling to stay focused on the story. Plus, the MC is unlikeable and somewhat gullible. Like others I believe there was potential and I still have to listen to the other 2 books, but as of right now my recommendation would be to be cautious in making a purchase. If it’s in your Audible plus, give it a shot.
