I cannot stand Beast. He is such a hypocrite with no character development. I almost DNF, but I wanted to give Beast a chance to apologize, grow, or, realize he was being a complete ass. But nope. All his abuse is glossed over or worse, justified by the author, while Laurent is dragged through endless manipulation and domination by literally everyone around him. The story had so much potential but the way the author handled abuse and trauma took away from story.
