What happens when a suburban lawyer dad living the good life decides to learn to shoot and eventually goes whole hog into prepping for disaster. He conceals most of it from his doctor wife who thinks its all craze but enlists his teenage daughter. Tate has divided the story of prepping and in later books survival into a lot of small books .. too many for my liking and the characters are black and white. I found the preparations interesting but his view of society and government is too extreme for my taste.
