This is book 2. I enjoyed book one, less so book 2. I listened to the audiobook version. I found it to be repetitive, and at times dragged on. I found parts hard to hold my attention. The ending felt rushed and abrupt. I really like the premises for the story, it sounded great. I feel that book 1 had a lot more work and effort put into it, with world building and character development. That said, the characters are unique, and read as different persons. I am still looking forward to book 3, and hoping it is written more like book 1. The narration was good. I received a free copy of the audiobook, and am voluntarily leaving my review.
