I’m not sure if I’m going to purchase the next book in the series and it’s mostly due to the writing. For starters there are way to many stat sheet chapters to the point I feel the author is using it to pad book length. the other issue I have is with the flow of conversation and through of each character. I’m not sure if it is due to the use of AI or in an attempt to make the story idiot proof but there is an insane amount of repetition when something is being explained. for example there are times when the protagonist will say something like, I’m strong because I have gotten stronger and I am stronger because I have killed that thing. that made me stronger because I practiced a lot to get strong. which in the end made me stronger. this will allow me to fight stronger things because I’m a stronger.
