I loved listening to all the books I’d give this a hundred stars. Ok so storyline was great characters were all easy to follow and interesting, the only thing I thought was I’d liked to have had Maddie’s mother Beth much more as part of the story also I’d like to have had Maddie grow up a few years through a few chapters before she was the heroine in the story.
I could understand if adults weren’t around and it was just teenagers and kids or even Maddie doing great things as she grew into a full mid twenty something because there were so many adults in these books and I feel like the governor and adults in charge gave an 18 year old girl so much responsibility right into this series. I’d love for her to fight and scratch for a few years and then be the hero she was.
