This book had it all for me: funny, smart, quirky, real, loveable characters; cozy mystery with fresh themes (high school from the teacher’s perspective, Shakespeare, circus, buddies instead of hero/sidekick); great writing; impressive narration (loved Ms Hickman’s voice of Emma). All in all, I loved it and am really looking forward to the next book!
