Ahhh I loved this one!!! Such a great summer read! This was my first Indy Valentine book and it definitely won’t be the last! The story sucked me in right from the start! Capri was so relatable and I really felt for her throughout the story. Being in such a lackluster relationship and then going through divorce, especially with the way everything happened, was rough. Things definitely turned around when Capri and her sister Collie take a trip to Capri! There she meets Jones and they have an instant attraction. Jones was so sweet and caring I absolutely loved how he completely accepted her for who she was and lifted her up. It was so nice to see after her awful ex. What started as a one week stand turned into so much more than either of them expected. They just had such a strong connection and couldn’t deny what was growing between them! I really enjoyed this story and can’t wait to read the next book following Collie!
I listened to the audiobook which is narrated by Stefanie Kay and Sebastian York who were so perfect for the characters! They completely brought the story to life! Definitely would recommend the audio! Thank you for an ALC Indy, Must Love Audio, and Lyric Audiobooks 🫶🏼🩵
