I received a complimentary Audible copy of this book from the author through Story Origin. I must confess this is not my genre at all. But these characters are all so endearing, it kept my attention all the way through to the surprising epilogue. I believe a big part of my enjoyment of this story was due to the narrator, Mary L. Phillips. I felt she really knew and understood these characters. Her performance was a delight and spot on.
