I’m really enjoying this series! Moons & The Case of the Missing Day is a wonderful follow-up to the first book, filled with charm, magic, and just the right amount of cozy mystery. The story picks up around Ostara, and the New Age shop setting continues to be such a fun and unique backdrop for the Moons & Runes Private Investigators.

I listened to the audio version, and narrator Mary Phillips is absolutely fantastic. She brings the characters to life with warmth and personality, making this series even more enjoyable. Her narration adds a magical touch that perfectly suits the tone and spirit of the story.

The mystery in this one has a bit more tension than the last, and I liked seeing the characters grow more confident in their roles as detectives. Thea’s feelings for Jeremy are still a slow burn, and the emotional depth adds another layer to the plot. Without giving anything away, the twist took me by surprise.

If you love light urban fantasy with a spiritual twist, strong friendships, and a touch of romance, this series is such a treat. I can’t wait to see what’s next for Thea and her magical crew!
