Though the first couple books in the series was good, I am beginning to feel manipulated. It becomes clear this was really one big book which has been cut up into successively smaller pieces to maximize profits. The chapter numbers are continuous throughout the series and each installment starts to feel like a episode.
The author also starts to bring in these “Outside thoughts” which just leaves a bad taste. Leave out the higher power crap and make the books longer. Eight hour segments makes it a very expensive book series.
