Matt Dinniman, author of the ever more popular Dungeon Crawler Carl series, gets 5 stars for simply existing. His work on DCC is at the apex of Audible listening. That said, Operation Bounce House would get a 7/10 in most circles. The premise is fun and the execution is good, but its not entirely fresh or completely relateable. Worth a read, but not essential. I finished the book easily. I even laughed out loud once, but I can’t say I was totally hooked. The draw for me was the incredible author who wrote this book. Support authors like Matt Dinniman! And fantastic narrators like Jeff Hays and Travis Baldree! You all rock! Go Audible!
