Maybe better as an eye read.

I think I’d have enjoyed that more if I read instead of listened to it. The new-to-me narrator had a good voice and did a lot of things well, but distinguishing main character voices was not one of them. This book, written in first person, made it hard to keep track of character POV. Having to concentrate/figure out/remember who was speaking distracted from my enjoyment of story.
