Seeing the incredible amount of high reviews of this book makes me wonder if it wasn’t correlated to the fact we as world were going through something extremely similar. Because this book to me was so boring. The characters were okay but we didn’t get a whole lot of character development we just spent the majority of the book jumping between them going through pretty mundane situations.
If this book was all just set up the other two it just feels like a nothing burger
