The story was enjoyable and I liked the characters and did get the “good feels”, but the author repeated words unnecessarily and included descriptions that weren’t relevant to the plot. The portrayal of the female character made her seem less intelligent than was likely intended. The lack of communication between characters, seemingly just to extend the story was frustrating. The female narrator was disappointing. Her voice had a nasal quality, she spoke slowly with little intonation, and occasionally included a lisp. When she voiced the male character, I didn’t care for it – it made him sound weak.
