obviously being the 7th book there is several parts of the story which I like enough to make it this far along, that being said the small issues I had in 1-5 are now multiplied by 50. The fact that Ben is this Ranger who’s a pretty big Bad A** when needing to be he the introduction of the two children now along with them who are extremely annoying he seems to have lost all of his abilities to be aware because he’s more worried about hurting their feelings or having to force them into seeing things they shouldn’t, it’s the apocalypse FFS they have to grow up, a regular dad I get but a battle hardened Army Ranger wouldn’t lose sight of that
