Ahh, this book had all the feels! Griffin our lovable Wolfskin was totes adorable. He was too cute for his own good. He made you love him right from the start. His backstory was sad, it helped to give us a peek at why he is the way he is.

Shae, oh boy. That poor baby needed all the love! His life was tragic. I couldn’t imagine having my own family treat me the way he was treated. He was so guarded and rightfully so. Having the MEOW squad being the one to find and help him was the best thing that could have happened to him. That group of misfits were able to show him what family really should be like. And of course Griff was able to use his gift to ease his fears and worries.

Joel’s narration is the best. The way he makes each character have a distinct voice is amazing. I absolutely love his voice for papa bear.

This was a great start to a spin off series. I can’t wait to see what happens next
