I was amazed that Western historians have neglected this monumental epic 3rd voyage of Capt Cook. He not only discovered new lands from the Arctic to the Anarictic but documented with precise map coordinates his findings with ancient navigation instruments. His search for the Northwest passage over the North Pole was an attempt as daring as modern day space travel. The author and narrator were extremely detailed in their account of the shipboard feats of skill and survival under the mighty perils of the sea.
