I wasn’t a huge fan of the voice actor in the beginning, he sounds like a mix of Kronk, from the emperors new groove and William Shatners monologue pauses. It does grow on you though as it goes on so it’s not that bad. The story is an also a mix of your typical dungeon crawling manga with a Shaun of the dead kind of satirical snarky view of things. It’s just a frumpy old man and a cat surviving near death experiences. I like it in the end, it’s entertaining enough and has some funny moments and the action keeps going. Worth a read. Glad someone recommended it to me and I checked it out. First audiobook I ever finished.
